Whether it's an old spinet or a brand-new concert grand, your piano is designed to perfom its finest at standard concert pitch (A-440 hz). Because of seasonal fluctuations in humidity, it is recommended that a piano is tuned at least twice a year. A piano is a guardian of civilization, an instrument of refined sublimity, and will bring lasting joy and fullfilment when maintained at optimum specification. I charge $120 for a standard tuning. If it has been some years since your piano has been tuned, it will need a pitch raise: $160
